promoting the red gene

——Visit the Former Site of the New Fourth Army Headquarters in Yunling, Xuancheng Jing County

On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, in order to welcome and learn from the propaganda and implementation of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, further promote the great spirit of party building, and take practical actions to welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. On September 17, the party branches of Mount Huangshan Gujie, Youyi Nanhai and Quansheng of Mount Huangshan, member enterprises of Mount Huangshan Supply and Marketing Group, jointly carried out the party day activity themed "carrying forward the spirit of the iron army and inheriting the red gene".

With reverence in mind, the group came to Maolin, Jingxian County, Xuancheng, and visited the Yunling New Fourth Army Headquarters Memorial Hall. Under the guidance of the interpreter, the party members learned about the overview of the former site of the New Fourth Army Headquarters in Yunling, watched the battle map of the New Fourth Army Headquarters, and had a close experience of the party history, including the living quarters and biographies of previous revolutionary leaders, I gained a detailed understanding of the arduous struggle process of the local organizations of the New Fourth Army and the lamentable revolutionary deeds of the martyrs, and received a profound education in party history and the baptism of the Red Army.

When visiting the Memorial Hall of the Former Site of the New Fourth Army Headquarters, everyone carefully listened to the lecturer's introduction of the origins of the New Fourth Army and Yunling, as well as the history of the Anti Japanese War, and gained a detailed understanding of the indomitable journey of the New Fourth Army soldiers in defending their country; After seeing the "Outline Map of the Wannan Incident" (January 4-14, 1941), I refused to leave for a long time and realized the noble character of the revolutionary martyrs who were loyal to the Party and devoted everything to the great revolutionary cause. It was during this shocking incident in southern Anhui that Comrade Zhou wrote in sorrow and indignation in the Xinhua Daily, "We mourn for those who died in the Jiangnan region!" and "Endless injustice, a leaf in the Jiangnan region, fighting in the same room, why be in a hurry.

Follow the footsteps of revolutionary martyrs and embark on a journey of red again. Everyone came to the Martyrs Cemetery of the Wannan Incident to commemorate the heroic souls of the martyrs, carry forward the spirit of revolutionary bravery and struggle, and strengthen their determination and faith to always follow the Party.

"I volunteer to join the CPC, support the party's program, abide by the party's constitution, and fulfill the obligations of party members..." The party members solemnly swore under the Memorial to the Martyrs of the Southern Anhui Incident. The sonorous and powerful oath sounded once again in this red homeland, reviewed the immortal oath of joining the party, and accepted the profound baptism of party spirit.

Party members have expressed that the original intention of the revolutionary martyrs cast in the red furnace remains unchanged. We should inherit the aspirations of our ancestors, promote the red gene, review the revolutionary story, recall the glorious years, remember the revolutionary martyrs, and hone our original mission, so that the red gene can be passed down from generation to generation and continue to thrive.
